Installation of MAREG and WinMAREG

MAREG for Solaris 2.4

MAREG for Solaris 2.4 plus Examples

MAREG/WinMAREG for Windows NT/Windows 95

MAREG for Solaris

     * create a directory mareg, move the file 
       Solaris_mareg.tar.gz into it and change to 
       that directory.

     * On the command line type 
             gunzip Solaris_mareg.tar.gz 
       to unzip the file Solaris_mareg.tar.gz

     * Type 
             tar xvf Solaris_mareg.tar 
       to obtain the directory /bin containing the 
       executable mareg (you might want to add the
       mareg/bin directory to your PATH ...)

MAREG for Solaris plus Examples

     * unzip the file Solaris_maregplusexamples.tar.gz using
             gunzip Solaris_maregplusexamples.tar.gz
       to obtain the subdirectory mareg containing the files
             Solaris_mareg.tar.gz and
             examples.tar.gz
 
     * For Solaris_mareg.tar.gz proceed as above.

     * Use 
             gunzip examples.tar.gz
       to obtain the directory
             tar xvf examples.tar
       to create the directory examples containing the
       example files (data files, ini files and resulting
       output files).

MAREG for Windows NT/Windows 95

     * Unzip the file win32mareg.zip to a temporary directory.
   
     * run the setup program.

     * Add the section 
             [exe]
             dosexe=<path>\mareg.exe
       to your winmareg.ini file 
       (found in the same directory as WinMAREG exectutable), 
       where path specifies the path to the mareg program files.
